This is not a feature-for-feature replacement for Microsoft Spreadsheet Compare. Can I use Spreadsheet Compare on a Mac?
WorkbookDiff offers a narrower browser-based comparison on Mac. It is not Microsoft Spreadsheet Compare and does not provide every Inquire feature.
What changes are supported?
Values, stored formula expressions, sheets and visibility, hidden rows and columns, and used-range changes at aligned coordinates.
Are the XLSX files uploaded?
No. The selected workbook bytes are read and compared in browser memory during the comparison workflow.
Can it match reordered rows?
No. If rows moved, you need a separate reconciliation workflow that matches records by a stable key before comparing fields.
