This policy explains what WorkbookDiff processes when you use the website.
Workbook files stay in your browser
Selected workbook files are read into browser memory so WorkbookDiff can compare them. WorkbookDiff does not upload workbook bytes or persist them in cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, or page URLs.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate traffic reporting. Cloudflare reporting may include aggregate page, referrer, country, browser, and operating-system categories. WorkbookDiff does not use this service to store workbook contents or filenames.
D1 daily aggregate counters
Separately, WorkbookDiff records daily aggregate counts for comparison starts, completed comparisons, and CSV exports. These counters use coarse event categories and do not contain filenames, worksheet names, cell addresses, values, formulas, or workbook bytes.
Retention
Under the current implementation, D1 daily aggregate rows are retained until manually deleted. Cloudflare controls retention for Cloudflare Web Analytics according to its service policies.
