Workbooks and report drafts

Selected XLSX files, cell contents, formulas, local file fingerprints, review marks and notes are processed in your browser. They are not sent to our analytics or license service. We do not automatically save workbook contents in cookies, local storage or IndexedDB. If you download a CSV, HTML report or private draft, it is saved on your device and may contain sensitive content. Keep it private. We cannot recover local files or draft contents.

Anonymous usage counters

We collect allowlisted, coarse events such as comparison completion, CSV export, private draft download, checkout opening and successful report authorization, grouped into daily aggregates on Cloudflare. They exclude filenames, workbook bytes, cell values, formulas, email addresses, purchase codes and report identifiers. Coarse acquisition context and the explicit analytics-test preference may use browser storage; they do not contain workbook contents.

Optional purchases and authorization

Optional paid checkout is provided by Creem as merchant of record. Creem processes purchase, contact and payment details under its privacy notice. Signed payment notifications to our service may contain buyer data. Our normalized billing ledger stores payment/event references, amount, currency, a hash of the purchase code, a random report ID and authorization/support status; it does not persist buyer email, the plaintext purchase code or workbook contents. Export verification sends only your purchase code and random report ID over HTTPS. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Hosting, optional video and support

Cloudflare hosts this service and processes network request metadata for delivery and security. If you choose to play the formula demonstration, the page loads YouTube's privacy-enhanced player from youtube-nocookie.com. Your browser then connects to YouTube/Google, which may process technical information under Google's privacy policy. The player is not loaded until you request playback; our code does not send workbook contents to it. If you email support, your address and the information you choose to send are handled through our email service. Please send only an order number and a description of the issue—not workbooks, draft files or full purchase codes.

Retention and requests

Local files remain under your control. Billing references and authorization records are retained to provide report access, prevent replay and handle refunds or disputes; no automatic short deletion window is promised. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information linked to your purchase. Financial records that Creem maintains are subject to its own obligations and procedures.
